This is the 6th year the Kansas City Chapter has awarded scholarships to students of the Kansas City Metropolitan. One educational scholarship is awarded to a high school student going to college, and another scholarship is awarded to a working adult returning to school to continue their education.  Our scholarship recipients for 2019 are, Phoenix Smith of Oak Park High School (MO) and Shawntae Baldwin of Park University.  On November 9, 2019 your donation and support will make a difference in the life of two students who have high hopes of academic achievement. This year, the chapter will also honor Attorney Arimeta DuPree, Esq., Ms. Jumesha Wade and Ms. Yalonda Robinson.  Congratulations to our honorees!  Tickets for the event are $75 and include a drink ticket, an amazing dinner, admission to the award ceremony, onsite party and souvenir journal.  For more information, contact Sylvya Stevenson by email at info@ncbwkansascity.org, or call 816-974-3237.
